SEPTEMBER 25 – COWBOY MONKEY, PYGMALION FESTIVAL, CHAMPAIGN, IL [SHOW #90] Day 108.  We arrived in Champaign early, many hours before we had to perform that night, so we spent all day killing time.  On tour one gets very little free time, so it’s crazy how incredibly bored one gets with too much of it.  Devin and David found and bought some Lenders Bagels shirts to wear when they go out for bagels.  We visited a record store, some vintage shops, and sat around in some coffee shops.  Before our show David, Devin and Patrick jetted over to see the Roky Erikson and Okkerville River show. The jam in the van:  The Marlboro Chorus / Like Knives / John Lennon Plastic Ono Band The word we heard:  “Our refer went out”  -Devin and David, joking about driving around in a bagel truck in their new uniforms.
